about the modules

Each module replaces something otherwise carried in the bag: a power bank, a dongle, an audio interface, a speaker; a GPU, a sample drive, a rack interface, a second battery. Left modules share one USB-C plug into the rear-left card; right modules use the Touch module's plugs. Every bay keeps the Shell's two fans, which cool the CPU.

One OLED under clear magnetic keys and swappable passive modules. The palm band takes the built-in trackpad in its centre with a module either side, or one full-width module with the trackpad lifted out: 180 set-ups. A clear keypad (v0.14) is a numpad, run / debug / git keys, meeting controls or a desk pad by the legends drawn under it; a glass palm rest shows meters or a work widget. Work presets come up with the app in front (docs/WORKFLOWS.md). Hall sensors under the panel read every key, pad, fader, knob and wheel through the glass.

about the meters

At rest every meter is dark, so the grilles read as grilles. Press play and the two grilles by the dials become the left and right meters (nine bands each, the bars rising toward the hinge, peaks held for a moment). The sampler's grille shows its own output when no pad mode is on, and the audio, speaker and studio meters follow the level. The music here is simulated at 120 BPM.

Each mode lights the 9 × 34 hole grid (LED icon, name and value bar). With the Keyboard module, clicking a function key (W = LPF, E = HPF, 2 = LEVEL, F = PAN, C = VEL, R = FX) selects its mode.

The body takes the Framework 16's footprint so its mainboard, battery and Expansion Bay drop in. Framework parts are drawn as bounding boxes of their official CAD (CC BY 4.0). The OLED outline and the battery size are assumptions until real parts are measured.
